Dear avid readers Despite the threat of rain there were 18 motoring enthusiasts who turned up to have a yummy lunch and a chat at the Pit Stop Cafe at Mt Mee. In spite of the rain that did fall in small and innocuous patches some intrepid members actually brought the cars – clubmans – for which this Car Club is notorious. Good on them for being so brave. I should have taken a photo as evidence that they were there but instead here’s a photo of the assorted gathering. Many are smiling, testament to the fact that they enjoyed each other’s company. Greg, Peter, Janette, Jake and I enjoyed the drive from The Gap to Mt Mee. It’s a pleasure to find some windy roads that are still signed at 100 km/hr. As they used to say in Rome - Voldonaldmort mortuus est, ut et ipse maneat illuc. Thanks all for coming and enjoy your driving! Rob Preslmaier Events Coordinator |
