A group of clubbie owners will be displaying their cars at the 24 September Engine Run Day at this great air museum. Come along and meet some of our members!
“The Rick Jones Run”
It’s been a year since Rick took his helmet and went to have fun on another road. Rick setup the SCCA for like-minded clubbie drivers to meet, drive and have fun (take the piss). There are many that would like to celebrate his influence and humour on our community and this will be a chance to have a drive through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and then lunch with those that cannot make the run at one of our favourite eating/drinking holes in the area Rick’s Café in Palmwoods. We will try to get display parking at the front for clubbies and photos.

A group of intrepid campers will be heading to Sharp Park, Canungra, this weekend for the "No Autotest" camp-out. There are some excellent clubbie roads in the area to which Gold Coasters will undoubtedly be happy to introduce the uninitiated.
As time is running out, if this is the first you've heard of the event, and if you would like to participate, please contact John Heindorff on 3351 6329 ASAP so he can (hopefully!) book extra space for you at Sharp Park.
We have booked with Spicer's Hidden Vale Resort at Grandchester for Sunday, 29 November for our annual Christmas lunch. This is a beautiful venue with terrific views and a number of options for great clubbie drives to get to and from, wherever your point of origin. Strictly limited by your imagination! This will be a great day and we hope to have as many members as possible enjoying it.
Twelve cars (at latest count) will be heading to Crows Nest over the last weekend in March to enjoy a weekend away with like-minded club members travelling on some great roads. The plan is to meet at Fernvale around midday for lunch at the local bakery before heading off to Crows Nest via Esk and the Perseverance Dam.
We'll be overnighting at Crows Nest and heading to the Qld Auto Museum at Hampton after breakfast, or to other points of interest in the surrounding area, as preferred, and heading for home during the afternoon. There are a number of return journey options for members to enjoy.
This should be a highly enjoyable weekend offering the chance to not only drive some roads possibly not driven before, but also to swap stories, compare cars and experiences, and generally get to know each other a little better.
